by Boston attorney H. Paul Carroll with the singular purpose of providing timely, cost-effective, and creative solutions to

and anti-trust class action lawsuits and other select civil and criminal cases. Mr. Carroll has successfully represented clients in
numerous jury and non-jury trials.
As a leading advocate of victims of racial discrimination and sexual harassment Mr. Carroll has successfully represented clients
before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. As an advocate for the disabled, and in particular, disabled
Vietnam Veterans, Mr. Carroll has successfully represented clients who have been unfairly denied Social Security Disability
benefits by the government.
A supporting member of the local community, Mr. Carroll has volunteered his time with the American Red Cross and the New
England Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Boston. He also volunteers his time and legal services to women and children
who have been affected by domestic violence.
Recent Achievements
In 2001 through 2003 Mr. Carroll was chosen as lead trial counsel by his legal contemporaries in Germany to spearhead
the litigation in the United States of a transnational securities fraud case on behalf of over one-hundred and thirty investors who
were allegedly defrauded over $6,000,000 in a covered-call stock option investment scheme.
Advancing the novel legal theory of "conduct-based jurisdiction", Mr. Carroll successfully argued before the United States
District Court for the Northern District of California that although the defrauded investors' money had initially been gathered in
Germany through a Luxembourg corporation, the conduct of the defendant individuals and corporations within the United States
were instrumental to the success of the alleged scheme to defraud, thus grounding jurisdiction in the U.S. Federal courts.
The Federal District Court agreed with Mr. Carroll's legal analysis and allowed the plaintiffs case to proceed with alternate
causes of action under the Federal RICO statute, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the
Investment Advisors Act of 1940, and the California Corporate Securities law. Mr. Carroll's legal strategies serve as a blueprint
for other attorneys across the nation seeking to secure the protections of the United States securities laws for an ever
increasing number of international investors who have been defrauded by individuals and corporations within the United States.
More recently Mr. Carroll was chosen by his European colleagues to head the U.S. Litigation efforts on behalf of 2,700
investors who have been defrauded in a world-wide stock scheme that resulted in the estimated loss of over $20,000,000 in
investor funds. The U.S. Litigation is being conducted in conjunction with litigation in the courts of Germany, Switzerland and
elsewhere to ensure the best possible recovery for the defrauded investors.
